We are thrilled to welcome you to BODY TERRAIN – a two-day workshop devoted to movement, perception and embodied problem-solving.
Through balance, partnering, soft acrobatics, organic strength and improvisation, we will explore how the body adapts, responds and discovers new possibilities in real time.
The workshop opens a space to investigate the close relationships between seeing and doing, doing and feeling, feeling and being. Through physical puzzles, questions and ever-changing situations, the body is invited to perceive, negotiate and reorganize itself beyond predefined solutions.
All levels, all bodies and all movement backgrounds are welcome – no specific experience or skill level is required. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are qualities we especially welcome.

Early on, Tiago immersed himself in the study of fine arts, dance, theatre, gymnastics and sports science.
Through a need to follow the body in several paths, he sculpted his professional path first as a painter, a high competitor gymnast, a circus performer and later as a dancer and during this multi development he started studying the most varied languages dedicated to Movement – the body in its totality – such as Ido Portal, Fighting Monkey (Linda Kapetanea & Jozef Frucek), Tom Weklser, W. Wanderkeybus, D. Zambrano, Alexander Vantournhout, Peter Jasko, Olga Roriz, Beatriz Batarda, Gaga method, Butoh, Somatics, Emotional Anatomy among many others.
He studies and observe the body as a vehicle for functionality, intellect, and artistic expression, while always feeling like a beginner student. In addition to sharing this methodology, he organizes several international events within Movement Culture, and in 2016 became the co-founder of the first Movement school in Portugal, Movement Lisboa (teaching and directing while curating the educational program). More recently, an extension of the school opened in the north of the country - Movement Porto.
